Jennifer – Scheduling, Insurance & Financial Coordinator
I've been a dental assistant for 16 years. Here at Sletten & Brettin Orthodontics, I am the Scheduling, Insurance & Financial Coordinator. I have been with Drs. Sletten and Brettin for seven years. I feel very fortunate to be part of an amazing orthodontic team. I truly enjoy working with our patients and getting to know them throughout orthodontic treatment. It's great to see all those “world class” smiles.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family: husband, Rick, and our children, Ashley and Reid. We spend our summer weekends at our lake site where we enjoy spending time on the lake and enjoying the outdoors. I also like snowmobiling, reading, walking and cruising on our Harley.
Bonnie – Scheduling, Insurance & Financial Coordinator
I am the Scheduling, Insurance & Financial Coordinator for the Hudson office of Sletten & Brettin Orthodontics. I have been with the practice since the Hudson office opened in 2007. I am a Licensed Dental Assistant, and my father and brother are both dentists. You could say dentistry is in my blood. I have spent over 20 years working in the dental field and feel it is a privilege to be a part of the fabulous team of professionals at Sletten & Brettin Orthodontics. It has been exciting to bring “world class” smiles to Wisconsin!
When I leave the office at the end of the day, I go home to Mahtomedi and my daughters Emma and Abby, and our little dog, Lucy. I spend my free time driving the girls to swimming, volleyball, church, friends’ houses or the mall. During summer weekends, I can be seen on my Harley, riding around the beautiful St Croix Valley.
Bridget – Registered Dental Hygienist & Treatment Coordinator
I bring over 20 years of experience in the dental field to Sletten & Brettin Orthodontics. I started as dental assistant and then became a hygienist. I have been with Drs. Sletten and Brettin since 2007 as a treatment coordinator in our Stillwater location. I feel blessed to be part of an amazingly talented, warmhearted team. Our team fully believes that a healthy bite is key to long-term dental health and stability and what a bonus to create beautiful smiles for our patients on their journey to health.
When I am not with my family at Sletten & Brettin Orthodontics, I can be found in St. Mary's Point with Matt, my husband of 16 years, and my boys T.J. and Keegan. In my free time I enjoy being a volunteer Firefighter/EMT for the Lower St. Croix Valley Fire Department, working out, camping, skiing, reading and most importantly chasing my boys to their activities. Oh, and the O'Brien's love cheering for the Minnesota Wild!
Jenny – Orthodontic Assistant
I have been with the team as an orthodontic assistant for eight years. I am blessed to work with such a great group of people, and I truly enjoy the work that I do. I also love to share my dental knowledge with patients. I feel the more our patients know the better!
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My husband, Tyler, and I are proud parents of two fun and energetic boys: 6-year-old Logan and 3-year-old Carson. We like four wheeling, fishing, golfing and going to the family cabin.
Ashlee – Orthodontic Assistant
I have been with the practice since 2003. I love working for Drs. Sletten and Brettin for many reasons. I get to meet new people everyday, and I get to work with and for wonderful people! We have a very unique office; everyone is very fun and upbeat which leads to a very positive atmosphere. I really enjoy working in orthodontics because I love being involved in creating beautiful smiles.
Outside of work, my husband, Mike, and I enjoy running outdoors, going to Minnesota sporting events and going to the cabin. In my spare time, I like experimenting with new recipes. No kids yet, but hopefully in the future!
Kathy – Orthodontic Assistant
I am in my eighth year as an orthodontic assistant at the most incredible orthodontic office. Seeing the significant changes in our patients keeps me motivated on a daily basis. Our work is miraculous! I love my job because of the end products. With healthy and beautiful teeth, people are more willing to smile, have more confidence and enjoy life!
When I am not working, I spend time exercising, scrapbooking and, most importantly, being a mom. My husband's name is Kevin, and we have two wonderful children, 4-year-old Hailey and 2-year-old Brady. We spend our valued time together playing and working in the yard, exploring new things, making regular trips to the library and zoo and reading.
Paula – Registered Dental Hygienist & Orthodontic Assistant
I am the newest clinical team member of Sletten & Brettin Orthodontics. I am a Minnesota licensed Registered Dental Hygienist and have been committed to the specialty of orthodontics since 1982. The Hudson, Wisconsin location is my primary location, and the St. Criox River Valley is proving to be a beautiful place to be situated! The SureSmile® technology utilized in this practice is cutting-edge in technological advances, and I particularly enjoy experiencing the joy of the patients who shorten their treatment time by choosing this option.
I am Minnesota born and raised, and sit neutral on the state line of Vikings vs. Packers! In my free time, I am cheerleader and leading chauffeur for a very busy family. I recently discovered the loyalty and love of becoming a dog's best friend when we added Topeka, a mini Doxy, to our family.
